Hello everyone,
I'm actually having a problem converting this one custom pressure maintaining system into a 3D a solid, that is to be used in AutoCAD MEP. The original file is an .stp (Step file). The Object iteslf is quite elaborate and I didn't want to use the overly simplified shapes in the block editor. (I'm designing a project, where I honestly don't have time for that at all, because of deadlines).
- Objective: Creating an MV-Block out of it. I already tried doing that, but many views aren't shown properly, assumedly because it is a Mesh Object and not a 3D solid.
I tried importing the file in AutoCAD and creating a 3D Body (or a surface) out of it but it does not want to be converted no matter what I do. The last step I took was exploding it many times, creating solids out of the small pices and unting them back together.
My problem right now, is that after exploding the 3D drawing, some Objects couldn't be put together because they're open curves now.
Is there an easier way to do it please? I'm grateful for any piece of help that I get.
Thank you
