Adjusting 3D Model Elevation

I have a 3D model of fire piping created in AutoCAD MEP and I need to adjust the elevation of the entire model. When I select all the pieces of the model and go to the properties box, it shows that the elevation varies. If I change this to my required elevation (14') in this example, will that work?

Hi, If you do this, everything will go a the same elevation, and perhaps it's not correct because all object have not the same elevation. In your case, the best way is "Select All" in a 3D view, and move the model at the correct elevation.

Hi @john.mcfarlin ,

Agree with @christophe.legrand. To move the whole model, it's probably best to use the 3DMOVE command and displace the model along the required axis. You may want also to ensure there are no objects on locked layers.

Please let us know if this answers your request.

Kind regards,
