PEDIT does not ask for precision in Mechanical 2025

I tried to convert an arc into a polyline but I'm not getting the prompt to specify the precision like I had been getting in the past AutoCAD versions. I tried it with my colleague's regular AutoCAD 2023 version, but it didn't work either. I removed and reinstalled Mechanical 2025 but the problem persists. Is there a system variable or something that I should change?

PEDIT has never done that for ARC object types, just actual SPLINE object types where that truly matters

Hmm, I distinctly remember getting the prompt when I converted arcs to plines. Thanks a lot, I guess I'm just misremembering.

I'm sure I recall PRECISION requirements on ARCs too... Mandela effect?
