Pattern a rectangle around a spline using ARRAYPATH

Hi all. Disclaimer: I don't get to use ACad much, as my company primarily uses Inventor. However this project will be handled much easier with ACad.

I've been fighting with this for hours. I have a rectangle that needs to be patterned around a spline curve. The catch: the mid-point of both rectangle ends need to be on the curve. 

Suggestions please?

@AnonymousTry using parametric constraints to constrain the end of the first rectangle to the spline the way you would like it and then try to pattern it.

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately it doesn't work either. The ARRAYPATH function only seems to consider the location of the base point with respect to the spline curve.
