using mechanical 2025 i no longer am able to double click multleader text to edit text i have to click on the context box text editor to open up the multiline text editor. 2024 works fine, i also have noticed in the cui when you click the plus on the double click actions in 2025 they added a line for multeader which is not in 2024 or below

Did you confirm PICKFIRST variable is turned on?
the CUI double-click entry in 2025 for MLEADERs is...? QUICKPROPERTIES showing up by chance? You can change it to match the MTEXT entry for example.

PICKFIRST is a typed command: setting is 1 according to the program's HELP. Try that. It might be all you need to do.

CUI command is a pop-up, you'll have to find the double-click section for MLEADERs to see what is set. Then find the entry for MTEXT in the same section of CUI. Ensure they are a match.

QUICKPROPERTIES is also explained in the program's HELP and it should show you where it is: you want that turned off.

Assuming this is not a 2025 quirk of course: it's only in testing here with a few of us.

I currently found a workaround. Go to CUI, Double Click Actions, Multileader, whatever Command you have in there now, you can change the current Macro to "_.MLEADERCONTENTEDIT" (without quotes). This should work as intended.

Dragging TEXTEDIT Command macro under the CUI/Double Click Actions/Multileader also works as well.
