Justify text included in a dimension

How do I go about justifying the text included within a dimenion? I'd like to left or right justify based on dimension position but can't seem to figure out how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

Use DDEDIT command to select the dimension text and select justification you want from text editor.

Thanks.

Why must I invoke an additional command to acheive this? Should this be under the power dimensioning menu?

This did not work in autocad 2019.  It shows in the editor that it is left justified. But when I leave the editor it goes back to center justified.

This is an illustration of why dim text should be able to be left, center or right justified within the text line itself, regardless of where along the dimension line it is placed.   Text on the left below was added under the actual dim (4"min) as MT to have it left justified.  Text in the middle & right of the sample were ea written within the dim text box.  Both are forced to center justification as a CAD std.  Both the center & right dims would have been set as right justification to match our project dwg standards if they could have been modified without getting out of dim command & adding MText.  Is there a way to include text within a dimension & justify the text itself?

the fix listed above worked in autocad 19. You run DDEDIT, select dim, and then highlight the text within the dimension to be able and justify the dim text
