How to disable F1 (Help Button) in AutoCAD

I found that these instructions do not work in my 2017 AutoCAD. For step 8 there is no lower line to enter anything. The only input available changes the F1 key into Shift+F1 without the option to edit it. If you try to edit it, it will clear itself and wait for another key command.

Are you trying to edit a CUIx file (or Enterprise CUIx) you are locked out from?

I'm sorry, my error was my own making. Where I work everything in CAD is done in caps and I didn't realize that would influence the input. It does say the lower line in step 8 which is not a good description of the key-shortcut input box that is available so I believed there was a difference in the prompt from the original post.

Hi @tj6TCQ5,

I am checking back to see if switching from using capitals resolved the issue. Please take a moment to post an update letting the community know.

All the best,

Yes, I was able to get this to work with the caps lock off.
