snap to intersection of diagonals

Hi, it would be great to have snap to intersection of diagonals of quadrant (square) objects so that i don't have to manually first draw the diagonals and than select intersection but instead snap would ask me to just to select object

Can you show an example of this or what you are doing now? Object tracking and Osnap should do it if I'm understand your wish.

think of it as a snap to middle of rectangle...if someone needs to draw a line from center of rectangle first you need to draw at least one diagonal and then snap to mid point of that diagonal...so it would be great to have a snap to center of rectangle to skip that drawing of diagonals all the time...please let me know if i could do that allready using some combination of snap/osnap...

....sorry, i ment the center of rectangle not middle (like center of circle)..

You can use the transparent command M2P (middle of two points.

Set your ospan to endpoints or intersections, then after you use the line comand type in M2P for start point, then pick a corner then the opposite corner of the rectangle.

Command: l
LINE Specify first point: m2p
First point of mid: Second point of mid:
Specify next point or [Undo]:

that works just fine, i didn't know for that modifiers to exist...a man learns all the time...

allthough, if there was snap to center of rectangle i would skip even that typing
