Industry models with PostgreSQL/PostGIS as datastore

We already have Oracle, SQL Server and SQLite (for desktop IM). It would be great to have PostgreSQL/PostGIS as a datastore.

Would be great to see new industry model for telecom optical network of course running in PostGIS.

I think this is a MUST for Industry models. Since 2011 there in no more ASFU for Oracle, Map as GIS solution is loosing battle since other GIS software support PostgreSQL/PostGIS.  Not to mention per core counting for databases and pricing...

It would be so great! I don't know why Autodesk minimize GIS, it should do much more in this growing GIS industry.

Many customers wish for operation the Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D with the datastore in Postgre/Postgis...

A modern GIS software can do this, I do not know, as Autodesk should not offer it.
