Add Create Multiple Features to the "Create a New Feature from Existing Geometry" Tool

As a City Employee/Civil Engineer I have to update the utility mapping from public improvement CAD drawings that I and consultants draft. While I could export features to a shape file and work with the data in ArcGIS Pro. I find that working with the data directly in Civil 3D to be amazingly useful. Unfortunately though, when adding new features I have to create each one individually when utilizing the "create features from existing geometry" tool.

It would be a massive productivity booster if I could just select all of the separate polylines or blocks I wanted to convert to features; rather than, selecting each one individually. It's such a time sink that it really hampers the workflow I've been trying to utilize for the maintenance our utility mapping.

Section 2 of the the tool documentation states, "All selected objects are converted into a single feature. To create multiple features, perform this operation on one object at a time." -- But why? Is it not possible to create multiple features without exporting to an external format and working with it in ArcGIS Pro/Desktop?

To anyone who is interested, I've changed my workflow to ditch the "Create a New Feature from Existing Geometry" Tool as it is slow an inefficient. Instead I utilize object data in civil 3d, export to a shapefile for points and a shapefile for lines, and then utilize a python script to send the data to the respective geodatabases. Perhaps this tool will be improved in the future.
