Is it possible to use Autocad Map 3D 2009 for an non Administrator users?
If yes, how?
I have to install Autocad Map 3D 2009 on ~ 100 pc. People do not have admin rights (to first start the following error is displayed:
Installation of AutoCAD Map 3D requires Administrator privileges).
What Registry-key and/or folder and/or files must be full access.
To install the user must have full administrator writes to the workstation.
Once it is install they only need power users rights to run the software.
What I recommend is give the user account full local admin rights to install
then run the application once as that users to ensure it installs and any
updates or service packs get installed. Then drop the users rights back to
just power users.
