shape file data does not display when map is opened as read only

I am working on a map within 3 different counties. Each counties parcels are displayed via shape file obtained from the county assessors. All 3 of the counties display correctly, unless another person tries to open it while the first has it open. 2 of the counties display correctly in this scenario, but the 3rd does not show up. Any idea what could be happening here. Thanks....>MKH

Hi,

some ideas:

• create that same scenario in a new dwg-file.
• delete the IDX files before starting the dwg with the data attached.
• verify the file and directory permissions for both users.
• try to login with your user account on the other system and the other user on your system.
• at least, make sure you both systems work with the same version and update of Map 3D.
