PDF not printing- size issue

Hi there,

Got this weird situation, I have a map- Low level design,  no matter if  I  print it as DWG to PDF or publish it I wont work to print it from the  PDF. It will create a PDF( between 2-7 MB but when I sent it to the plotter it will show me that the PDF has 200-300MB and the plotter will get blocked.)

If I print straight from the layout, it's working properly but not everyone in  the company has AutoCAD and they need to print from the PDF.

tried : purge, overkill, pdfshx,

Do I see it right that there is no problem in the

1. step: create a PDF from DWG; but in

2. step: plot this PDF on Plotter?

If so, check the plot settings in your PDF reader / Viewer: There is an option like "Print as image" - this could cause the big file size on the plotter.

this works only for plotter, still the issue  for printer if someone wants to print from the PDF.

change PDF drivers or driver settings is the answer: but you've not shared much so I'm not sure how to assist you any further.
