MVSETUP command does not work in MAP 3D 2011??

Anyone have a lsp command or a work around for the old "MVSETUP" command?  Do a lot of rotation with viewports and the "mvsetup" command would give you the options of rotationg the view in the Viewport.  In 2011 that does not work.. Errrr.

I can rotate my view using the DVIEW command for each viewport, which does work, just like to old "mvsetup" command...

Thanks in advance!

Works ok for me in 2011. Make sure you have full power users rights on the workstation, IIRC the mvsetup and a few other old school commands wrote to a folder that normal users can not write to.

BTW old school is to rotate the paper on the drafting table to meet your needs. 🙂

Make sure the Viewport is not locked.

Type: Mview > Lock > OFF > Select the Viewport

YW, and it's the solview, soldraw commands that also need power users rights. Once the commands are ran once of that workstation with that users the rights can be set back to normal users. I only tell that to the managers that have users that NEED to be restricted rights.
