Measuring multiple polylines

I was wondering if it is possible to measure the lengths of multiple polylines and seeing a report or list of each lengh rather than *varies*.  Is there a way to do this and how?

Or even a way to cacluate the total distance of the selected polylines.

Thanks!

Hi,

if you want to have a table showing the length of each object + the sum then you can use command _DATAEXTRACTION.

If you want to just select and see only the sum then look to the mass of posts already handled that >>>click<<<.

Hello from France

If you want the length total of many linear DWG (not FDO) objects , I am using since a long time ago the routine "TLENGTH"

which is able to run on ALL (even MLINEs) linear AutoCAD entites ...

You can modify this line according your needs :

  (if (ssget '((0 . "LINE,POLYLINE,LWPOLYLINE,ARC,CIRCLE,ELLIPSE,SPLINE,MLINE,REGION,MPOLYGON")))

IF you want to run on a few entities !?

@bjarne_telschow,

Um... If GeomProps is working, it never shows *variable*. GeomProps always shows sums.
Can you attach a screenshot or file with two such objects here? What version of AutoCAD do you have?
