MAP 3D 2016 coordinate system problem

HI!

I found 2016 MAP coordinate system list  is not equal to MAP 2015 list, there are several coordinate system not listed at all. There are some Estonian coordinate system missing and also when to choose "World/Continental" option under category then there are nothing at all.

I found that MAP coordinate system librarys is stored in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk. MAP 3d 2016 seems to keep coordinate system in folder "Geospatial Coordinate Systems 14.01" and 2016 keeps in foder "Geospatial Coordinate Systems 14.02".

I deleted all data from 14.02 folder and copied new data from 14.01 folder but that not helped me, coordinate systems still missing.

Does someone else having similar problems with MAP 2016?

How to fix it? I added some screenshots also.

I would save your older DWG with the missing coordinate systems in Map 3D 2015.
Open them up in 2016 and view the coordinate system under "Auto-Registered"

I assigned in MAP 2015 coordinate system what missing in 2016. Assigned system is visible   in statusbar using MAP 2016.

But what you mean "Auto-Registered"?

Now its not possible also in MAP 2015 or Infrastructure Mapserver 2015 to assign coordinate system, list is completely emty. I tried also reinstall MAP but that not helped me. 

What is the correct folder where Autodesk software  looking for  coordinate system information?

What is the best and easiest way to fix this problem?

Your Coordinate System might be corrupt now.

In terms of Auto Register, if your DWG has a coordinate system assigned and is not already created in your list of coordinate system, AutoCAD Map will put it in the Auto-Registered group.

The installed coordinate systems can be found here:

    C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Geospatial Coordinate Systems 14.xx

where .xx depends on the Map 3D version.

When you have modified coordinatesystems (user defined ones) then you might have an additional folder there:

    C:\Users\<your login name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\User Geospatial Coordinate Systems

Maybe it's a help to rename this folder (so Map 3D does not find any user defined CS), restart AutoCAD Map 3D and see what happens when you start command _MAPCSLIBRARY.

At least I have not had the issue you had, my coordinate system are listed completely in 2016 as well as in 2015.

Thanks Alfred that helped me with 2015 and all previous versions but not with MAP 2016. It seems I need to try to uninstall and reinstall MAP 2016.

But Alfred when you choose "World/Continental" as  Category filter do you see coordinate system list same as MAP 2015?

Now I unistalled MAP 2016, deleted  C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Geospatial Coordinate Systems 14.02 and C:\Users\<your login name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\User Geospatial Coordinate Systems   folders, after that I  Installed new MAP 2016 but still same problem.

This must be bug. I remeber there was similar problem with early versions of MAP.

Does anyone else 2016 users can confirm this bug?

At last I found a solution. In C:\ProgramData\Autodesk  also folder "Geospatial Coordinate Systems". I deleted all files  from it and  copied  new ones   from folder Geospatial Coordinate Systems 14.02. Now everything works like it must.
