Make an arc invisible?

I drew an arc, then put some arctext on it. Now I don't want the arc to be visible but I still want to keep it should I need to modify it or the text. What is the thing to do?

Hello @allelopath

Create a new layer and name it something like 'ARC-Text.' You can put your arc on this new layer. Freeze the layer so it's no longer visible. If you need to view the layer again you can thaw the layer.

Make sure you text is on it's own dedicated layer so it won't turn off when ARC-Text is frozen.

Thanks, I can see now that it would be a good practice to have an invisible layer for any drawing and stash stuff there.
