m-color issue

I was wondering if there any m-color users out there that are having the same issue with m-color as my office has.  The issue we are having is that on any drawing that is xrefed (and only xrefed) the text (but not mtext) all gets either shifted or is at the wrong width.  It happens with both regular fonts and autocad .shx  fonts.  And to make thing stranger, how it effects the text seems to change from day to day (for example I have an example where it works ok one day, but when running it at a later date it makes it is now to wide).  This is happening on at least four different machines, each with different configurations (windows 7, 8 and 10) with various versions of audcad map (2016, 2018 and 2019).  We have one machine where we have has no issues that we must use as our printing machine (its an older computer using windows 7 and has autocad map-2014).  I originally thought it might have something to do with the Width Adjustment option in m-color, but as far as I can tell that is an option only for .shx fonts and we have this issue with all fonts.  I have attached to examples (pdf) one from our "printing" machine which everything works fine, and an example how every other machine would print it.  Any suggestions? Just for the record our IT has tried to contact m-color itself, but we have never gotten any replies back from them.

Your two PDFs are from different driver versions (9.9.571-bad and 9.9.577-good respectively): you most likely don't have the same font handling setting between the bad one and the good one.

Hi,

is that really an AutoCAD issue?

Try to plot to "DWG to PDF.pc3" ... are then the fonts look different too?
