lines that I draw in straight Autocad don't show up when I open in Map3d

as my title shows, I have been drawings some water lines in as polylines in autocad.  I have opened up this file in Map 3d, and I see these lines "flash" as the drawing opens, but then they are gone.  Any idea what could be going on with this?

Can you post the drawing?

Mike,
Thanks for posting your drawing. I get pretty much the same as you, now you see 'um, now you don't. Other than a record number of errors when I used RECOVER to open the drawing, and a missing Xref, I don't see anything obvious.

@MKH-VB ,

The drawing seems to be corrupted.

Consider this link:

RECOVER your FILE, QSAVE then WBLOCK your PLINEs to a new file and see if your issue goes away in that new file.

or redraw those PLINEs in M3D as a last resort.

Dean,
"RECOVER your FILE, QSAVE then WBLOCK your PLINEs to a new file..."
That's the problem. There's nothing in the drawing, even though QSELECT shows 3439 items.

Mike,
Try clicking "Map Base".

Totally agree with @Pointdump

The Map Base hosts the vanilla AutoCAD objects. The Map Task Pane 'layers' above it (the ones with the yellow triangles) are layers brought in using an FDO connection. Unchecking Map Base will only leave you with Data Layers with valid connections..
