Hi,

you can either search for some tools doing that or start command _DATAEXTRACTION (>>>details<<<) and export the length of these lines. Use then e.g. Excel to built the sum.

Hello

You are speaking about standard ACAD Lines, PLines, Arcs, etc ?

OR

FDO Lines/Plines ?

Moreover, you can _MAPEXPORT all to a linear shapefile, adding the OD "Length" attribute.

Then you open the resulting .DBF in a spreadsheet (like Libreoffice) and sum the Length column (as said by Alfred).

Another option, download tlen.lsp from here.

Hello

"TLEN.lsp" from Tee Square is OK but TLEN is running on : Line, Arc, Pline, Circle, SPline, Ellipse

So since 2009, I am using a French Routine "TLENGTH.lsp" (which is more complete - Author: Patrick_35) because TLENGTH is running on :

"LINE,POLYLINE,LWPOLYLINE,ARC,CIRCLE,ELLIPSE,SPLINE,MLINE,REGION,MPOLYGON"

Merci beaucoup, Pat, I guess that's what Alfred was talking about when he wrote "search for some tools doing that"...
