Hello Autodesk Community. I have experienced an issue loading custom scale bar blocks using the "Layout Tools" tab. I have created a graphical scale bar block that matches our standards but also works with the Custom Scale Bar tool. The block uses the same attribute definitions as the built in Scale Bars (Map.ScaleBar.Div). The block has worked well when dynamically linked to a viewport with one exception.
The issue is when I introduce dynamic blocks into the drawing or into an Xref. Once certain types of dynamic block are introduced, the Custom Scale Bar tool no longer recognizes blocks that are in the drawing. It also locks the ability to import a block from another location. The problem seems to be linked to dynamic blocks that also have attributes.
This has become a problem with our setup as we utilize several dynamic blocks.
