Is the MapElectrical feature the same as AutoCAD Electrical toolset

At my job were looking into using AutoCAD Electrical, but I notice that our 3D Map has a Electrical engineering palette along with a slue of commands. I was wondering if this was as comprehensive as AutoCAD Electrical if not the same thing.

I assume we are speaking about the electrical Industry Model which is available in Map 3D.

That are 2 different programs.

The main difference is AutoCAD electrical is for design tasks.

Industry Model electrical work with a data model to collect and maintain huge Utility networks (communities, power supplier).

Let me know what you like to do and we can check which is the best for the work processes you like to do.
