How to DATA Connect using MySQL

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can explain how to use data linking with the "MySQL" connection option.

What type of data does this let me connect? Tables? Pictures? DWGs? I know it says spatial references so how would this also work?

Can anyone explain what this does and what sources would I need to use this option to connect. 

Can anyone provide me with a screen cast?

Hi,

If you mean command _DBCONNECT then you need to install a ODBC driver for mySQL (like >>>that<<<) (not tried, I'm not using mySQL).

Or, to use Map3D functionality, you could use command _MAPCONNECT and follow >>>that way<<<
