First action in map 3d

After opening map 3d ,I started editing in workspace then first action taken minium 15 min .Is there any solution to reduce time for first action.

what is this "first action"?

...and is that drawing depending?

And some other info's are needed:

• What version of Map 3D do you use
• What service pack is installed for that
• What operating system do you have
• What graphic card is built in and what is the driver version for that

Yes it is related to drawing, I am editing a feature in autocad production 2016 and editing in matantace workspace.I am using windows 7 operating system. I am working on live eletric project.

When I working in map 3d, system will hang and after 5 minutes reconnection errors came and auto cad close particular server connection. Is there any solution.

Hi,

So if you don't have the same issues with another drawing it might help to change to another drawing.

It depends now what type of objects you do have, if your objects come from a database server or GIS data files like SHP, SDF, SQLite then create a new drawing and connect to that data.

If your data is all stored within the DWG file that you can run _WBLOCK (with option "entire drawing") to create a new dwg with the same content or you create a new drawing parallel to your existing one and do copy & paste to transfer your data to the new drawing file. Then continue with that new file.

Show us screenshots from that errors. If the data comes from a database server then please let us know which database connection you use, which database type and version you do have in the background.

Are you working remote? Or is AutoCAD Map 3D installed on your local system (if local I don't understand what you mean by "close server connection")

Actually we are working on online electrical project .We connect autocad
map 3d production 2016 by using RSA token .we are working in maintance
workspace .Total data present existing in map 3d .We are modifying the
data on live data then mostly two type of problems we have found. One is
after connecting we can edit the feature in a drawing first time it will
take minimum 15 to 20 minitues after it will be fast . second one is
reconnection error came for same connection center. For example ten users
connect to some 120 connection center if 11th person connect then
automatically reconnection error came to to all before ten user and
automatically closed. So could suggest any proper solution.

Is that always the same limit (10 connections exists and a 11th one should be added)?

If so that sound as you have conflicts with your server connectivity, either from operating system or from the database.

So the questions are:

• Which operating system does the database server run?
• Which database (and version) does the server have and which connection (within command _MAPCONNECT) is used?
