Excel table not importing properly...

im importing a table into Map, its got 3 collums, 1 containing just text, 1 containing integers and 1 containing a mix of integers and text.

The text and integer collums are fine, but the in the collum thats mixed, only the integers are coming up.

ive tried setting the excel cell properties to 'text' but that doesnt seem to help 😞

any ideas???

cheers

Perhaps you can trick the system by putting a text character in the first position of the mixed column of just the first record.

How are you importing the excel cells into cad?

selecting the cells in excel then 'Ctrl+C'
then going into CAD
edit > paste special > cad entity

If you use the paste special command, you loose the formatting that the original file was made with.  If you import it as a high res photo image - it keeps the colors, but the resolution is blurry - if I import it as a spreadsheet option, it's not blurry but it loses the color.  It drives my PMs crazy - is there any fix for that?
