I get an error Waring every time I invoke the copy with a base point command with ACAD2017. Is this a familiar occurrence for anyone else.

Then copy error.JPG

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

does the same happen when you create a new drawing, create one line and then try to copy that line?

Or does that only happen within a specific drawing or with a specific object type (which one?)?

>> with ACAD2017

AutoCAD 2017 or AutoCAD Map 3D 2017 (this is the forum for Map 3D, that's why I'm verifying this)

Which service pack do you have installed? Start command _ABOUT and show us a screenshot from that dialog.

It happens with any copy command using CTRL+C or Copy from the Edit pulldown.
It does not matter if old or new drawing.
Straight copy within drawing is fine.
Thanks

Hi,

the screenshots are not attached, please do not answer by mail (as attachments are not forwarded in that way), use your Internet browser, login to the forum here and use the "Reply" button (and the "browse" button to attach files, or - on top - the "Photos" button to add images).

>> It does not matter if old or new drawing.

Create a new Windows user account, login with that account, start AutoCAD Map 3D and try the same again.
