Erdas Imagine (.img) file imorting

Hello,

I have Erdas imagine file. the file extension is (.img). My question is, how to import .img file in to AutoCAD MAP 3D?

The .img format by Edras is not supported. You'll need to open the file in another program then export the image to a format Map 3D can recognize. If you have ArcMap or Global Mapper, you can open the .img there then export to another format such as tiff or jpeg.

I'm pretty sure the QGIS freeware will convert that to something you can use.
