Drawings Crashing, but works for co-worker!!

Recently i have been getting an ARX Error (image attached) and the fatal error right after and crashed my application. the drawing can be accessed and worked on my coworker no problem.

I have run the software repair, did not fix issue

i have run the software reinstall, did not fix issue (not uninstall and install again)

i updated my GPU Driver, did not fix issue

if anyone has an idea to solve this issue please let me know.

Application crash right after this error

Thank you for any help..

Hi,

is this issue really drawing specific? Because the faulting application (WsCommCntr4.exe) is working independent from drawings or drawing content.

Lets start doing some basic settings and verifying differences between your workstation and another one where you have no issues.

First disable "phone home" by

  • command _DESKTOPANALYTICS and uncheck the "I agree...."
  • command _OPTIONS ==> tab "System" ==> uncheck "automatically check for certification update"

Then please use commands _ABOUT as well as _GRAPHICSCONFIG and send us screenshot from these 2 dialogs (from both systems, the well working one and your's).

Thank you for your reply,

After unchecking the "I Agree..." under command _Desktopanalytics and unchecking the "Automatically check for certification update" under _OPTIONS, "System". the drawing launchd.

Now i still got the ARX Error Mentioned before, but the fatal error that crashed the drawing did not occur; therefore, i was able to use command "_Audit" and that seemed to fix something and i was able to save as and re-launch the drawing with no errors.

This seems weird as the drawing opened on coworkers workstation, but not mine.

Anyways thanks for your help.
