Delay in selecting objects in AutoCAD Map 3D 2016

Hello,

When I try to select several objects, lines, etc. there is constantly a delay (1.5 to 2 seconds) before I can select the next one or before I can enter a command. I never had this problem in Autocad Map 2013.

Does this happen in all dwgs or just a few? Are there FDO files connected to the dwg(s)?

2 tests you can try : 

If you have properties palette opened, try to close it.

If you have XRef, try to unload it.

Try to unload ALL XREFs: DWGs, Images, DGNs, PDFs, DWFs ...

Never let OPEN the properties palette if many hatches (2000-10000) are selected

and IDEM for others entities (4000-40000) depending on the speed of your PC !?

Thank you for your reply.

There seems to be a conflict between the latest update of Microsoft Windows and the BGT-palette that I am using. Our ICT-provider is going to solve this.
