I am working in a mix of GIS file types and DWG drawings. Typically I work in DWG format and XREF in DWG drawings as this is the final deliverable type I produce. However it is convenient to be able to link into GIS data of various formats to inform the design.
Is it possible to control the order of the display of both GIS and CAD "Layers". Typically when I import a new GIS data set it sits on top of the whole drawing and I need to do a series of "bring above" or "send back" commands. However this process seems fragile. I can see the "Draw Order" option under the Map task pane, but not a consolidated control over both sources of data.
Is there a defined method or the like to manage this with more control
