Hi. I am obviously doing something wrong, and need to do a presentation of a project I am working on in 2 days...and need this to work, so any help appreciated. (map3d 2015)
In my drawing I used the "Boundary" command to create various boundaries. I then exported them DWG to SDF to create a features. I then connected to the SDF in a new drawing, and made a calculation (wanting to add a new field with area) using AREA2D and selecting "GEOM" in the expression. I ended up with a new field that has 0 as the data for all the calcs.
When doing a calc with same data for Length2D I get correct lengths. Can someone tell me why I can not get an area off this calc? Obviously it doesn't see it as a polygon or something, yet as it was a boundary when I saved it as sdf? Im a bit lost
