Dear All,
I've created a new industry model in Autodesk Infrastructure Admininstrator, I migrated oracle data from an other database where water and wastewater pipe geometries were stored in one table. I only separated them in my display model, so I have to different layers for wastewater and water but in one table.
I'm wondering if it's possible that when after digitizing a pipe (the way we do it: right click on layer - create - wastewater line) my form will automatically updates a column (watere/wastewater) based on from which layer I started the command?
Or is there any solution which automates this thing, I'd like to avoid choosing twice (1. select layer, 2. select in my form the water/wastewater column). Or I have to create two tables...
Regards.

Hi,
You could create two views in Oracle - one for water, one for wastewater.
Then create a "instead of" trigger for each view. Trigger will fill up the attribute they way you want it.
Then create a Map layer for each view instead of two layers for one table.
