problem with window polygon selection

Hi All,

I am facing problem with ED.SelectWindowPolygon.

It is running good for some time after stopped working.

If i manuall regen my model then run again wroking fine.

i am running my commands through a windwos form in Autocad-2010.

can any one help me how to fix this problem.

Do you mean you have to stop something first, then your code runs good. Or it runs good for a while and then stops for some reason youdo not know. Please also explanation what exactly it is not running good, or stopped working: what do you see/experience, how do you tell it is running good or not good.

One thing you may or may not have paid attention: when you use Editor.SelectWindow/SelectWindowPolygon(), the entire window (points that consist of the window) MUST BE WITHIN the current view. If one or more points is beyond viewable screen, the method may not return correct SelectionSet. So, before you call Editor.SelectWindow[Polygon](), you may need to have some code to make sure all the points are within the viewable screen area. Usually, you can create an Extents3d based on the points and then zoom to the extents before calling Editor.SelectWindow[Polygon]().
