Add dll files for new commands

I am using Auto cad map 3D 2008. I have created a new dll file, which will display a window for adding a selected layer file. I want to attach the dll file to Auto cad, so that, when I press a button(which is newly created) in the tool bar, the window should be displayed. How can I do that? Please help.

dear sir,
i have face the same problem with the map
but i have created my own menus in the map by using the CUI facility and behind that menus i wrote the command that i have creates to display my own sdf file.

i made the same thing with the .cui file to create a toolbar, you can find more information in map 3D help.

view>Menu/Toolbar Layout>Customize/Help

but i wish make a setup wizard to install my dll and the toolbar in map3d, anyone knows it is possible?
