Help please

Yellow vertical narrow box appears at cursor...I am new to V 16  but 12 years on V2007 

Can anyone put me out of my misery 

they are not exclamation marks or squares ...but thin vertical yellow lines

Thank you for posting. As @pendean suggested, a screenshot of what you're seeing will clarify the issue. Based on your description, I don't think I've seen this occur.

Is it there all the time, or only in certain places as you move around the AutoCAD LT interface? Only during certain commands, perhaps?

If you could record a short Screencast of the issue, that might be the most helpful way to clarify the issue you're experiencing.
