XREF NOT UPDATING

Hello,

I'm having a problem, when I edit my Xref (like shift a wall or erase something) when I close it and go back to main drawing and click on the balloon to update the drawing the changes I made are not showing up in my drawing. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Are you editing the correct XREF?

Your LT version is...?
Your Windows OS is...?

No, my question was:

After you edited - add circle as simple edit -  (save and close the file) ,

open the main drawing (not the xref file) again:

Is your display xref uptodate or not?

If Yes: Please upload a screenshot of your version details, Command: ABOUT

Sorry, yes I edited my Xref by deleting some line work and added some hashings. I closed the Xref and opened my main drawing and the Xref was not updated in my main drawing.

hmm

Open the main file, use REFEDIT to open the Xref file:

Is it your "old" content or the edited/new one?

Unix filesystem where the Xref is located?

Two files in the same folder with the same name except the UPPER&lowerCase of the name?

What is XREFNOTIFY variable set to? Usage is explained in HELP.
What about TRAYNOTIFY variable?
Are you on multiple screens and AutoCAD is not on the Windows "primary" screen?

Your LT version is...?
Your Windows OS is...?

Answer all questions please, not just the first one like last time 🙂
