AutoCad 2019 Layers has a gray box over it

Currently experiencing a issue with AutoCAD LT 2019.
Where the layers are I'm getting a grey box covering the layers unless I take my mouse cursor and click on the layer than I can actually see it. Here's a screenshot. All the way on the right you can see me selecting the layers. I already uninstalled and reinstalled AutoCAD. My next step is to reload the computer? Has anyone seen this issue before?

try to change the color scheme to light and apply  and back to dark again.

Start GRAPHICS CONFIG command, turn off Hardware Acceleration, and see if the problem goes away.

Wouldn't this technically affect the performance within the program?
