WON'T PRINT

Why would my AutoCAD 2014 Student stop printing arrays and blocks--even after the blocks have been exploded? I checked my layers manager, and those layers are turned on and turned on to print. would it fix things to reinstall from my flash drive?

Post your dwg file, let's all have a look.

Post my dwg file. Not sure how to do that. I draw a whole project on one
page, one dwg, then just print the layout I want. I know how to export a
layout as a PDF, but that won't help here, will it? You need the whole dwg,
including layers and settings, don't you? How/where do I send you that,
please?

Click reply then scroll down to ATTACHMENTS. Click browse then browse to where you drawing is stored select your drawing and then click open.

Hey, Johneng: that easy? OK. It's the whole drawing file. I don't know how
to copy part of a file, as if it were a document, and paste it into a new
dwg. Not sure you can.

Try printing the bathroom floor plan at upper left, with the little
array--a floor and joists in section-- beneath it. I just did, and neither
the array nor the outer line of the bathtub will print.

BTW, my printer is a Brother HL2040, B&W, doesn't print light colors dense.
That doesn't seem to be the problem here.

The bathtub was originally a block. When it wouldn't print, I exploded it,
put it all on one layer, and made it 0.8mm; the color of the outer ring of
the tub didn't change with the layer. I just changed it to a different
layer, and that changed the color, but it still won't print.

??Wassupwiddat??

Maybe I should just re-install AutoCAD from my thumb drive? The new version
will just go find my dwgs in my computer, won't it?

Thanx!

>>>... I don't know how to copy part of a file...<<<
WBLOCK command, usage explained in HELP, explore it there then try it.
