Viewports and Frozen Layers - Any Ideas?

Hi,

I am trying to set up several sheets and each sheet is different when it comes to layers.

I have States saved in model space in the State Manager. 2 Different states.

When I go to the sheet layouts in Paper Space, I want one sheet to be State 1 and the other sheet State 2.

I know about freeze in current viewport - but there are tons of layers and don't want to go through and freeze each layer.

Is there any way to use the States that have been saved in Model Space and force them to be different for each sheet in Paper Space?

where do you create your layerstate settings, Model space?
where are you trying to run layerstate, inside a viewport or outside in
modelspace?

Are you expecting layerstate command to create viewport overrides for you?
Because it will not.
