Twist - Can't remember

I'm sure this is on the forum somewhere, but I can't find.

I simply want to twist my drawing (in model space) using 2 points. When I type in "twist" in brings up "VIEWTWIST = 0" in the command line.

How do I twist my drawing using 2 points?

Oh, I'm using AutoCAD Lite.  I hope that doesn't matter...

Actually, if I could just rotate my view within my viewport, that would be fine.. (even better).. WITHOUT rotating my actual viewport.  Is that possible?

I take that back.. I need to be able to set specific views in model space as well.. sorry for jumping around..

Are you familiar with the saved view? You can rotate the view, save it and load it quickly. Including in viewport layout.

You need to rotate the view first.

1. Rotate the UCS
2. Type Plan and rotate view to follow current UCS
3. Save the view (Type VIEW then enter)

You can load the view later when you need it from the same dialog box.

In LT, with vprotateassoc set to 1, use the rotate command and rotate the viewport with it's view.

To rotate the view without rotating the viewport, I made a wblock of a viewport with a twisted view using full AutoCAD then copied it to my other computer that had LT. When inserted into LT the view was still twisted. The AutoCAD command is Dview with the twist option.

DVIEW>Twist was removed from LT a few versions back.

Simply rotating your viewport is all you need to do: has been that ways for many versions too, in addition to the excellent tip from EdwinP

How do I rotate the UCS.  I want to rotate it in reference to two points, so I type in UCS, then what allows me to select two points?
