Trouble with program freezing

The program has an unpredictable problem with freezing. It comes and goes like a bad cold. Was hoping there is a fix to this issue that's not too involved. Don't know if I'm being fair in blaming the program or if it's an issue with something else like hardware.

Hi @mbetGEGZX

Thanks a lot for posting your question to the forums!   The first thing to check is to ensure you are running the software with the latest updates. You can check here.

Once you are all updated then we can start to drill deeper into the issues should they still exist.

We look forward to hearing back from you with more information so we can help you as a community!

Loaded the last update listed as December 8 so I think we can move on to the next step.

Thank you for the reply

The software really went south. No ribbon or anything to really help with functionality. Can type in commands but have no idea what's happening. Can't seem to access forum except through here. Desperate for help .

Had issue with scheduling support for personality reasons. Wish I could discuss further. This is a struggling one man show and the current problem may end this office. That's no exaggeration. I'm begging for help.

Greetings @mbetGEGZX

We have little to go on from your many replies here, help us out by being way more specific with this information please:
1) What is your exact AutoCAD version as listed in ABOUT command?
2) What is your Windows version?
3) There is nothing wrong with the file you shared over here: is this the ONLY file giving you problems? it seems to have a missing XREF, is that the issue?

Be as detailed as you can with your replies please, we are all end users just like you and we cannot honestly guess at what is wrong at your end on our own. Help us help you. Thanks.
