Good morning, I need help solving a problem with Autocad. Every file after opening contains a lot of continuous lines. This also applies to files that were not created on my computer. I reinstalled the program but the problem did not go away. Can you help me?

Can you share a screenshot of what it looks like?

Lines appeared in descriptions and in some blocks. The filling is also incorrect.

The problem is also in other files from the project archive, which I haven't opened for a long time.

Seems like these are actual line objects you can select and edit/remove and not some graphical errors?
Likely because this file originated from another application and the export to DWG wasn't done correctly/turns out this way.

Try running the audit command otherwise you'll have to manually delete the lines with selectsimilar or quickselect since they look like rays/xlines.

Does this appear on all drawings or only some? If it's a graphical issue try typing 'graphicsconfig' and change the rendering modes or update your graphics card drivers

These are not simple/straight. I can't optical them. Files created by myself ai are not imported. Lines that also appear in the autocad startup file. And I didn't do anything with the graphics.

The problem doesn't occur in a newly opened file. But I need to be able to use the completed projects so I don't have to redraw the whole thing.

Assuming it is the program and not your actual old files... Have you installed the 2022.1.5 / 2023.1.6 / 2024.1.6 / 2025.1.1 Update yet? you never mention your year version so I am showing all the latest. ABOUT command in your AutoCAD will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards please.

If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero). NOTE: a restart of your AutoCAD/LT is required for it to take effect.

Also consider turning off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables: if still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort, see if that fixes it all ultimately.

Thank you very much. Your advice was helpful. The graphics were fixed after disabling the LINESMOOTHING command.
