Text rotates even when angle set to 0

It's not every time but when I enter single line text it will rotate the text to some angle.  Sometimes 90, 135 or some odd angle like 116.6.  I go back and check my input and it shows the angle at 0.  I would understand if I was doing something but I not moving the curser and the angle can be so precise that wouldn't happen with a curser movement to set the angle.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks, Bob

Is this a new problem or has it always existed since day 1?

If the former, then what may have changed?

Are you reading each prompt at the command line? One of those prompts is the text angle.

Command: TEXT
Current text style: "Standard" Text height: 0.2000 Annotative: No Justify: Left
Specify start point of text or [Justify/Style]:
Specify height <0.2000>:
Specify rotation angle of text <0>:

Next time it happens, and your commandline shows no rotation (see other reply), ensure both UCS and PLAN commands are set to WORLD to see if that helps.

Relatively new. Couple of months. Finally decided to see if I can fix
it. When I read each line on the command line it seems to be ok. If, when
I don't check it and if I happened to move my mouse a tiny bit, I can see
how that could change the text angle. But when I hit F2 and check the
input it says the angle is zero.

I just did a test and I think I figured it out. I think I am somehow
clicking the wrong mouse button, clicking the left instead of the right at
the specify the rotation angle line after having moved my mouse.

I see if that solves things. Thank you for responding!
