Specific line distance

I have a question regarding entering a specific line distance. I am learned cad on a 2004 version of LT. In this to get a specific line length I would enter 24'3" or just enter a specific distance in inches.

I just down loaded the trial of LT for Mac. I have learned about the units of measure. Is it possible to still enter line lengths like the 2004 version or is that ancient history.

Thanks for help

I have never used a mac version, but entering line lengths is a method that will never go away, I do know that the mac system works differently, so there may well be a variable like "dynmode" that affects what you see on screen, but starting your line command and moving the cursor in the direction you want to go, followed by just typing the distance should work, (providing you are using the correct units).

Thanks for the help.  I played around with settings and was able to get this to work.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting back. If you are able to elaborate more on what helped that would be great.
