SHX File

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I'm having an issue with my 2013LT. Everytime I open a new drawing I get a dialog box that says "One or more SHX files are missing. What do you want to do?" The options they give me are "Specify a replacement for each SHX file" or "Ignore and continue"

Can you please advise on how to fix this issue indefinitely?

Thanks,

From the drop down, Format, Textstyle, and see what it is you are missing.

Either replace these or find the SHX file that you need.

The File is likely in your previous version LT Font folder

DWG files do not contain or carry SHX files with them, you must have these files available for the program.

If the SHX files are fonts, you need to ask the file creator to provide you with these SHX files along with the DWG files: if you are the creator, then you left these SHX font files behind somewhere and you need to bring them along to LT2013.

SHX files can also be shape files (used in custom linetypes): same rule applies above.
