So, I'm working on floor plans with XRefs and I'm using LAYWALK to determine what objects are on what XRef layers so I can freeze the objects I don't need to see. I'm thinking this is normal and all it should do is visually isolate the selected layer(s) and when I hit close, as the checked box indicates, restore all visibility upon exit.
I've experienced this numerous times, however, whereas when I close the LAYWALK function, I'm hit with the blue loading circle next to my cursor and my command line is bombarded with seemingly hundreds of lines of "Proxy metafile contains bounding box. Not exploded"
Huh? I'm not trying to explode anything or grab grips or edit anything whatsoever. Should LAYWALK be triggering such prompts? I had to hit the escape key multiple times to clear everything up. Is there a reason for this? All it should do is display layers visually, but this is making me nervous about using this helpful feature going forward out of fear of my program freezing and crashing or getting something screwed up.
