Second point of displacement not showing

Hello

We've just installed AutoCadLT 23 and when we go to Stretch, it asks for the first point of displacement, but not the second. It lets us drag the selection, but that's not ideal, obviously. I figure it's just a setting, as I've changed the keyboard, but I can't see anything obvious. Any ideas?

Thank you.

Can you create and share a screencast of what is happening?

When asked for the 'second' point, can you enter coordinates or a relative displacement (@X-distance,Y-distance)?

Greetings @simonWQSPC

No such issue exists with our LT2023 user: are you perhaps missing the prompt because your commandline is only 1-line tall? Tap the F2 button on your keyboard to double-check whih using the command.

And if you use it, DYNMODE should be set to 3 (not -3 or any other settings).

Have you installed the 2023.1.2 Update yet? ABOUT command will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards.

Thanks for this. We had to get the IT company to update it, like you suggested, and it's working fine, now. Showing someone how to use the software and it starts behaving differently is quite confusing.....

Thank you again.

Thank you for the reply. Turns out an update was all that was needed, but I have learnt how to film my screen, so you made me learn today, and that's always a good thing.
