Scaling

Hi all, 

I need to overlay the containment in one drawing onto the other but match up the gridlines, can they be scaled the exact same? 

I struggle scaling things

Forgive me, are you asking about help using XREF command?

BTW it appears both of your DWG files are not drawn accurately at 1:1 scale, there seems to be quite the level od fudging going on with the dimensions.

Did you create both drawings?

No not me on this one, I have just been passed the drawings

I did not see a reply to my first question, do you just need help using XREF with these two files?

They are badly drawn, and the column grids do not line up, but the geometry seems at least superficially to align.

You and the file creator will need to get together to find a common ground to work in.
