Saving to PDF blurred and unreadable

When tryting to save as pdf or print to pdf the drawings come out severely blurred and unreadable 

all text and lines extremely thick and not able to be read

Not enough information, sorry:
Is this your first ever PDF output and you see this issue?
Or a unique problem tied to one DWG file?
Or this happens in all of your files all of a sudden?

what options and settings were selected in AutoCAD in that file?
what PDF output settings did you choose?
What size PDF sheet and what scale? What was the content? For example, hoping to capture readable city street names by printing the entire state of Texas on an A1 sheet is going to be, well, unreadable.

Show us your plot dialog box so we can see what PDF printer you're using. Also when the plot dialog box is open and you've chosen your PDF printer, click on the ringed button in the image below and show us an image of the dialog box which pops up
