Rotate not operating in usual manner. Instead of picking a point and having item rotate about the point the entire item rotates around a point as a whole rather than from a single point.

Really need help.

Figured out what went wrong but now have another question: How does one change multi-text default? May be a basic question but it's a question.

Well... you sort of created this confusing MTEXT by editing a columns-base text with many edits, instead of just creating a clean new MTEXT object. Getting rid of those elements will help you get back to what you see.

Of just erype the three works in a new MTEXT

Turning off this variable should get you on the right path:

THANK YOU!

That was a helpful response. My issue now is how to make this the default. I don't know what happened but the default regarding text orientation as well as implementing the above solution go back to the more complicated dynamic column as well as the "yes" for text orientation.

MTEXT is an odd one in AutoCAD: it remembers that last options you used (columns and bullets etc.) but there are some sub-options in the command to strip some of it away.

Are you using LT2024 or LT2025? LISP is possible and that might make controlling MTEXT to suit your different needs better.

Hey, thanks for the response.

Looking to make those changes permanent but having difficulty setting up the correct options as the default.
